St. Bernard's Crusaders (Eureka, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host South Fork Cubs (Miranda, CA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Crusaders (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA). The Warriors come into the Humboldt - Del Norte - Little 7 challenge with a 4-21 record. In their last challenge, Hoopa Valley was beaten by Ferndale (Ferndale, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cubs face the Ferndale Wildcats (Ferndale, CA) in a Humboldt - Del Norte - Little 7 test, on Tuesday, October 21. South Fork will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 11-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA).
