St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

The Flyers (37-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 26-16 record.

Next, the Knights meet the St. Anthony Yellowjackets (San Antonio, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. St. Augustine will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 3-20 record after their 3-0 league loss to San Antonio Christian (San Antonio, TX).
