In Monday's non-league battle, the host Harmon Hawks soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Washington Wildcats.
The Hawks (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Highland Park (Topeka, KS). The Scots come into the KCAL battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Highland Park Sumner Academy (Kansas City, KS), 4-4, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Atchison Phoenix (Atchison, KS) in a KCAL outing, on Tuesday, October 18. Washington will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Phoenix go into the outing with a 2-12 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy (Atchison, KS).
