Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), 10-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders confront the Tri-County Jaguars (Murphy, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A challenge, on Wednesday, October 19. Highlands will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 6-1 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, NC).

The Bulldogs now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-County for a Smoky Mountain 1A challenge on Monday, October 24.
