The United Lions soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting North Star Cougars to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Lions face the Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 18. United will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Ramblers enter the contest with a 5-11 record after their 2-1 league loss to Rockwood (Rockwood, PA).
The Cougars now have a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conemaugh Township for a Western Pennsylvania - Northern contest on Tuesday, October 18. North Star will face a Indians team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Hyndman Charter School (Hyndman, PA). The Indians record now stands at 13-3.
