In Monday's league battle, the host Bethlehem Central Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Guilderland Flying Dutchman.
The Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Scotties come into the Section 2 Suburban - Grey battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Ballston Spa lost by Millbrook (Millbrook, NY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Flying Dutchman clash with the Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Grey battle, on Thursday, October 20. Guilderland will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record. The Bison come into the battle with a 11-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Albany (Albany, NY).
