The crowd at Monday's league bout between the John Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) and the host Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY), saw John Jay's volleyball squad beat Carmel by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, John Jay upgrades its record to 12-14 on the year. The Patriots host Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie, NY) to play the Pioneers in a Section 1 Conference 2 - E bout on Wednesday, October 19. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Poughkeepsie lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mahopac (Mahopac, NY)

The Rams now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Mahopac for a Section 1 Conference 1 - A bout on Friday, October 21. Carmel will play a Indians squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to John Jay (Hopewell Junction, NY). The Indians record now stands at 9-8.
