The Foran Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hillhouse Academics to 0 in the Lions league victory on Monday.
The Lions now have a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lauralton Hall for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset game on Wednesday, October 19. Foran will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-4.
The Academics (2-13) will now prepare for their game against East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets enter the Southern Connecticut - Oronoque game with a 3-14 record. In their last game, East Haven dropped by Hamden (Hamden, CT), 3-0, in a league game.
