Virginia High School Volleyball - Meadowbrook can't hold off L.C. Bird

In Monday's non-league battle, the host L.C. Bird Skyhawks volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Meadowbrook Monarchs.
The Skyhawks (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Falcons come into the Dominion battle with a 1-8 record.
Next, the Monarchs clash with the Thomas Dale Knights (Chester, VA) in a Central battle, on Tuesday, October 18. Meadowbrook will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 7-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA).
