The Waterford Lancers held off the host Ledyard Colonels volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lancers now have a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norwich Free Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 19. Waterford will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-12.
The Colonels (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Fitch (Groton, CT). The Falcons enter the Eastern Connecticut - Large test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Fitch was nudged by Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT), 3-1, in a league test.
