The Lincoln Fighting Zebras volleyball team (Lincoln, CA), went down 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA)

The Bruins (17-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners enter the Foothill Valley League challenge with a 17-24 record. In their last challenge, Nevada Union defeated Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Zebras encounter the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley League challenge, on Wednesday, October 19. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA).
