The Middletown Middie Bears volleyball team (Middletown, NY), was dropped 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the host Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY)

The Crusaders (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Vikings enter the Section 9 Orange County I challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Valley Central was dropped by Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Middie Bears meet the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County I challenge, on Wednesday, October 19. Middletown will attempt to move on its 1-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Kingston (Kingston, NY).
