North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Stanly over South Stanly

North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Comets clash with the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match, on Tuesday, October 18. North Stanly will attempt to advance on its 13-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 20-2 record after their 3-0 league win over North Stanly (New London, NC).

With the loss, South Stanly drops to 10-13 on the campaign.
