The Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) volleyball nudged the visiting Oakwood Comets (Fithian, IL), 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Salt Fork betters its record to 20-8 on the year. The Storm travel to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL) to face the Blue Devils in a Vermilion Valley outing on Tuesday, October 18. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 18-7. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL)
