The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Seaside Spartans (Seaside, CA) and the visiting Rancho San Juan Trailblazers (Salinas, CA), saw Seaside's volleyball squad beat Rancho San Juan by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Seaside upgrades its record to 5-8 on the year.

The Trailblazers now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to North Monterey County for a Pacific Coast - Cypress bout on Wednesday, October 19. Rancho San Juan will play a Condors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA). The Condors record now stands at 6-11.
