The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) and the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), saw Richmond's volleyball squad nip Scotland by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Richmond upgrades its record to 9-13 on the year. The Raiders travel to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 20-2. Pinecrest won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)

The Fighting Scots now own a 12-7 record.
