The Nansemond River Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Deep Creek Hornets to 0 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland for a Southeastern game on Thursday, October 19. Nansemond River will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-18.

The Hornets (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins enter the Southeastern game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Western Branch dropped by Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league game.
