The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) and the visiting White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC), saw Croatan's soccer squad get by White Oak by a count of 3-2.

The Cougars now hold a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Dixon for a Coastal 3A test on Thursday, October 19. Croatan will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league win over West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, White Oak drops to 13-5 on the season. The Vikings host Richlands (Richlands, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a Coastal 3A test on Thursday, October 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 9-8. Richlands lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)
