Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Western Wayne nudges Holy Cross

The Western Wayne Wildcats soccer team scored 2 points and limited the host Holy Cross Crusaders to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Wildcats face the West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division II contest, on Saturday, October 21. Western Wayne will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Invaders enter the contest with a 9-8 record after their 8-0 league win over Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA).

The Crusaders now have a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunmore for a Lackawanna - Division II contest on Thursday, October 19. Holy Cross will face a Bucks team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Mountain View (Kingsley, PA). The Bucks record now stands at 13-2.
