In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Scranton Prep Cavaliers soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the Honesdale Hornets.
The Cavaliers (13-3) will now prepare for their bout against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Buckhorns enter the Lackawanna - Division I bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, Wallenpaupack Area was overwhelmed by Delaware Valley (Milford, PA), 2-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets confront the Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division I bout, on Friday, October 20. Honesdale will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 11-6 record after their 5-4 league win over North Pocono (Covington Township, PA).
