The Smithfield Sentinels smashed the host Hope Blue Wave soccer squad by a margin of 6-2 in Tuesday's league match.
The Sentinels now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Warwick for a Division 2 match on Friday, October 20. Smithfield will encounter a Wizards squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Wizards record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Hope drops to 1-8 on the season. The Blue wave host Cranston East (Cranston, RI) to encounter the Thunderbolts in a Division 2 match on Thursday, October 19.
