In Tuesday's league battle, the host Howell Central Spartans soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Timberland T-Wolves.
The Spartans (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Fort Zumwalt South nudged Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
The T-Wolves (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Christian Brothers (St. Louis, MO). The Cadets come into the non-league battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Christian Brothers was nudged by Vianney (Kirkwood, MO), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
