Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats face the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Piedmont Classical will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Villains enter the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 2-1 league win over Carver (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Lions now have a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they host Carver for a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge on Thursday, October 19. Millennium will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-3.
