Georgia High School Softball - Pickens bounces LaFayette

Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 20-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe Area for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 17. Pickens will battle a Purple Hurricanes squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 10-18.
With the loss, LaFayette falls to 20-8 on the campaign.
