The Franklin Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Buffalo Bison to 0 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now have a 18-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mexia for a 3A Region III District 20 game on Friday, October 20. Franklin will meet a Black Cats team coming off a 3-1 league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Black Cats record now stands at 6-18.
The Bison (0-28) will now prepare for their game against Fairfield (Fairfield, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region III District 20 game with a 33-4 record. In their last game, Fairfield gained a win over Elkhart (Elkhart, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
