Arizona High School Volleyball - Maricopa over Cesar Chavez

Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Rams battle the West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) in a 6A - West Valley match, on Thursday, October 19. Maricopa will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Dragons come into the match with a 19-8 record after their 3-2 league win over Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ).

With the loss, Cesar Chavez drops to 5-14 on the campaign. The Champions host Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ) to battle the Wolverines in a 6A - West Valley match on Thursday, October 19. The Wolverines come into the match with a record of 13-12.
