Texas High School Volleyball - Cotulla routed by Hondo

The Hondo Owls volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Cotulla Cowboys to 0 in the Owls league victory on Tuesday.

The Owls now have a 20-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crystal City for a 3A Region IV District 28 game on Friday, October 20. Hondo will meet a Javelinas team coming off a 3-0 league win over Natalia (Natalia, TX). The Javelinas record now stands at 26-8.

The Cowboys (4-19) will now prepare for their game against Lytle (Lytle, TX). The Pirates enter the 3A Region IV District 28 game with a 18-20 record. In their last game, Lytle gained a win over Dilley (Dilley, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
