The Cumberland Dukes volleyball team (Cumberland, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA)

The Chargers (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders enter the James River challenge with a 15-2 record. In their last challenge, Amelia County defeated Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Dukes meet the Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) in a James River challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Cumberland will attempt to move on its 3-16 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA).
