In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Moriarty Pintos.
The Sundevils (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes come into the 4A District 2 battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Pojoaque Valley defeated Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Pintos encounter the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a 4A District 2 battle, on Tuesday, October 24. Moriarty will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
