New Mexico High School Volleyball - Highland routed by Grants

The Highland Hornets volleyball team (Albuquerque, NM), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM)

The Pirates (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles enter the 4A District 5 challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Belen defeated Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Highland will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
