The San Benito Greyhounds volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Harlingen Cardinals to 0 in the Greyhounds league victory on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now possess a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Fresnos for a 6A Region IV District 32 game on Saturday, October 21. San Benito will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Weslaco (Weslaco, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 27-9.
The Cardinals (7-20) will now prepare for their game against Rivera (Brownsville, TX). The Raiders enter the 6A Region IV District 32 game with a 20-15 record. In their last game, Rivera defeated Weslaco (Weslaco, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
