The Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Holyoke Purple Knights to 1 in the Beavers league victory on Tuesday.
The Beavers now have a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Everett Regional for a Pioneer Valley - Central game on Thursday, October 19. Putnam Vo-Tech will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
The Purple Knights (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Amherst-Pelham Regional (Amherst, MA). The Hurricanes enter the non-league game with a 14-4 record. In their last game, Amherst-Pelham Regional gained a win over Central (Springfield, MA), 3-0, in a league game.
