In Tuesday's league contest, the North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) volleyball squad were winner over the host LaGrange Gators (Lake Charles, LA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Patriots face the Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA) in a Division II District 2 contest, on Thursday, October 19. North Vermilion will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record.

With the loss, LaGrange moves to 15-7 on the year. The Gators travel to Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA) to face the Charging Indians in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 18. The Charging Indians go into the contest with a record of 3-17. Washington-Marion lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Westlake (Westlake, LA)
