California High School Volleyball - Leigh over Leland

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) and the host Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA), saw Leigh's volleyball squad beat Leland by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Leigh upgrades its record to 20-7 on the year. The Longhorns host Westmont (Campbell, CA) to play the Warriors in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton bout on Thursday, October 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Westmont lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA)

The Chargers now own a 9-18 record. They play next when they travel to Prospect for a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton bout on Wednesday, October 18. Leland will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-16.
