Texas High School Volleyball - Veterans Memorial Mercedes

The Mercedes Tigers topped the host Veterans Memorial Chargers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 19-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Donna North for a 5A Region IV District 32 test on Saturday, October 21. Mercedes will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Porter (Brownsville, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-29.

The Chargers (25-20) will now prepare for their test against Pace (Brownsville, TX). The Vikings enter the 5A Region IV District 32 test with a 30-3 record. In their last test, Pace gained a win over Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
