California High School Flag Football - Los Banos loses to El Capitan

October 17, 2024: Los Banos, CA 93635

El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the host Los Banos Tigers (Los Banos, CA), 28-20 in a league battle.

With the win, El Capitan advances its record to 19-7 on the season. The Gauchos travel to Merced (Merced, CA) to play the Bears in a Central California Conference battle on Tuesday, October 22. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 14-6. Merced won 42-12 in their recent league battle against Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA)

The Tigers now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Atwater for a Central California Conference battle on Tuesday, October 22. Los Banos will play a Falcons team coming off a 38-7 league win over Golden Valley (Merced, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 15-4.
