In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the McMinn Central Chargers.

The Patriots (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Black Knights go into the non-league outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Chuckey-Doak was edged by Roane County (Kingston, TN), 3-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Chargers confront the Roane County Yellowjackets (Kingston, TN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 19. McMinn Central will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a 15-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN).
