Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), 3-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Marriotts Ridge moves its record to 6-3 on the campaign.

The Gladiators now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hammond for a Howard County test on Friday, October 18. Glenelg will clash with a Golden Bears team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD). The Golden Bears record now stands at 0-10.
