The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) and the visiting Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA), witnessed Wheeling Park's ice hockey team defeat Moon Area by a final score of 4-1.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Butler (Butler, PA). The Golden Tornado come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Butler by Freeport (Freeport, PA), 6-3, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) in a PIHL Class A Blue test, on Thursday, October 24. Moon Area will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
