The Hillside Hornets football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans to 20 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. Hillside will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 48-22 non-league loss to Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Jordan (Durham, NC) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 23. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-4. Jordan lost 26-24 in their recent non-league test against Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC)
