The Franklin County Eagles tipped the visiting William Byrd Terriers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 21. Franklin County will attempt to advance on its 12-3 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 3-12 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).
The Terriers (8-10) will now prepare for their game against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league game with a 3-13 record. In their last game, Staunton River held off Northside (Roanoke, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
