In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host George Wythe Maroons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Grayson County Blue Devils.
The Maroons (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 15-1 record.
Next, the Blue Devils meet the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 21. Grayson County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA).
