In Thursday's league challenge, the host Healdsburg Greyhounds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs.
The Greyhounds (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Piner (Santa Rosa, CA). The Prospectors come into the challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Piner was beaten by Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs battle the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 19. St. Vincent de Paul will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 15-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Analy (Sebastopol, CA).
