The Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL), 2-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Boilermakers now possess a 17-0 record. They play next when they travel to Monmouth-Roseville for a non-league bout on Monday, October 21. Kewanee will clash with a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL). The Titans record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Newman Central Catholic drops to 0-3 on the campaign.
