The Ash Fork Spartans soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Grand Canyon Phantoms to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Northland Prep Academy for a 2A - North bout on Tuesday, October 22. Ash Fork will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Red Rock (Sedona, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 8-7.
