In Thursday's league contest, the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) soccer team edged the visiting Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), by a tally of 2-1.
Next, the Golden Bucks face the George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) in a Class C - North contest, on Tuesday, October 22. Bucksport will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME).
The Red Devils (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Ponies enter the Class C - North contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Foxcroft Academy held off Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME), 1-0, in a league contest.
