Fans at Thursday's league battle between the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) and the visiting Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC), saw East Wake's soccer squad knock off Southern Wayne by a count of 4-1.

The Warriors (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Warriors enter the Quad County 3A battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Hunt tipped Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Saints confront the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) in a Quad County 3A battle, on Monday, October 21. Southern Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 4-11 record after their 4-1 league loss to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC).
