In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Grand Junction Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Grand Junction Central Warriors.
The Tigers (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Palisade (Palisade, CO). The Bulldogs go into the 5A/4A Southwestern outing with a 4-10 record. In their last outing, Palisade by Montrose (Montrose, CO), 4-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Warriors play the Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, October 22. Grand Junction Central will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Longhorns go into the outing with a 4-8 record after their 1-1 league Aspen (Aspen, CO).
