Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Seton Catholic Central Knights (Plattsburgh, NY) and the host Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY), saw Seton Catholic Central's soccer squad hold off Lake Placid by a count of 1-0.

The Knights (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY). The Bobcats enter the Northern battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Northern Adirondack tipped Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bombers battle the Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY) in a Northern battle, on Monday, October 21. Lake Placid will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Red Storm enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 5-1 league loss to Chazy (Chazy, NY).
