Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ) and the host Lindenwold Lions (Lindenwold, NJ), saw Sterling's soccer squad hold off Lindenwold by a count of 2-1.

The Silver Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Eagles enter the Colonial battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, West Deptford tipped Haddonfield (Haddonfield, NJ), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lions battle the Haddon Heights Garnets (Haddon Heights, NJ) in a Colonial battle, on Monday, October 21. Lindenwold will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Garnets enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Haddon Township (Westmont, NJ).
